This original kilim rug was hand woven by an-all women cooperative in Anougal, Morocco. It had been a family heirloom passed down for several generations.
Made of sheep wool on a cotton base, this flatweave and pileless rug is a dynamic and vibrant textile just waiting to fill your room with joy. The base is an off-white wool that is allowa the brightly-colored diamond pattern to shine.
Due to aging, this rug has a slight warp to its design and doesn’t lay completely flat in all areas, as seen in the pictures. A rug pad or a jute rug beneath is recommended.
