Since 2013, we’ve been connecting our global customers and retail partners directly to master artisans working in Tameslouht, Morocco.
We are committed to investing in our artisans and their communities by working to make artisanal work a viable and reliable career option in Morocco.
The Team
Ayoub
Ayoub is one of our master artisans. With more than 20 years of experience, Ayoub is extremely skilled in creating unique and intricate designs and is highly regarded in Tameslouht for his incredible talent. Ayoub demonstrates strong leadership qualities within the team and is responsible for managing the artisan's daily activities.

Rebha
Rebha is one of our master artisans. Rebha learned how to weave from her mother when she was 35 years old, and has been weaving every sense. With more than 20 years of experience, Rebha hand weaves beautiful, intricate designs and brings a wealth of tradition and skill to our team.

Ahmed
Ahmed is our of our master artisans. Ahmed learned how to weave from his father when he was 18 years old. Ahmed has over 15 years of experience as a professional weaver and is very knowledgeable about his profession and heavily contributes to innovative, new designs.

Zhara
Zhara is one of our master artisans. Zhara learned how to weave from her mother and worked at an all women's cooperative for several years. With over 20 years of weaving experience, Zhara is an extremely skilled and brings to the team a wealth of knowledge around the history of weaving, traditional designs, and materials.

Brahim
Brahim is an artisan in training. Currently, Brahim works to ensure all of the wool needed for our professional weavers is prepared and supports the team in daily workshop operations. Brahim receives mentorship from our team of artisans so he can learn the skills and techniques required for this craft and have a successful career and livelihood as an artisan.
Abdelilah
Abdelilah is our on the ground, Logistics Manager. Abdelilah has supported Maslouhi since the very beginning, and is responsible for managing and arranging all operations in Morocco, including helping coordinate tours, shipping products, and communications with partners.
